Buying YouTube Subscribers? Why I Said No | Fake Growth vs Real Growth

Description

Buying YouTube subscribers, watch hours, or comments might sound like a shortcut, but it is not a growth strategy I am willing to touch. In this video, I share why I said no to LinkedIn messages offering to “fix” my YouTube channel with paid subscribers, watch hours, and fake engagement, and why I would rather grow slowly with real viewers and useful content. 0:00 - Introduction 0:11 - Description I break down how these pitches are framed, why they sound tempting to small creators, and why I think they are the wrong move if you care about trust, consistency, and long-term channel growth. YouTube’s fake engagement policy says creators must not link to or promote third-party services that artificially inflate views, likes, comments, or subscribers, and it also prohibits “sub4sub” style engagement schemes. YouTube’s monetization policy also treats fake engagement as a serious issue, which is why buying subscribers or watch hours is not just a bad look but a real channel risk. I also talk about what I believe is the better path: publishing consistently, improving titles and descriptions, staying useful, and letting the audience build naturally over time. YouTube’s own description guidance recommends unique descriptions, clear keywords in the title and description, and video chapters to help discovery and navigation. #YouTubeGrowth #FakeEngagement #OrganicGrowth Follow me on X: https://l.samayas.eu/jo3eaYEf3E?P=YT&V=34 Buy me a Coffee : https://l.samayas.eu/jX6xL7EWhd?P=YT&V=34 Studio Equipment Camera Sony Alpha ZV-E10 II: https://l.samayas.eu/k7y90TREl0?P=YT&V=34 Secondary Camera Obsbot Tail Air: https://l.samayas.eu/iFQu9WfmCw?P=YT&V=34 Elgato Prompter: https://l.samayas.eu/fHVrqqXtSc?P=YT&V=34 Microphone Rode Wireless GO II: https://l.samayas.eu/afBINjiBXN?P=YT&V=34
